Modern India Property Developers Limited, [MIPDL] a subsidiary of Modern India Limited is developing an Electronic Hardware/Software including IT/ITES, SEZ, at Khopoli, Dist.: Raigad, Maharastra, a town located in the middle of two fast developing cities Mumbai and Pune. Khopoli is a town, having well developed infrastructure which also houses various industries and having a Municipal council.

MIPDL owns and possess 36.89 Acres of Free hold land having 200 meters frontage to National Highway for and in the heart of Khopoli town, wherefrom railway station and bus depot are at a walking distance.

MIPDL’s plans to develop Electronic Hardware/Soft ware including IT/ITES, SEZ at Khopoli has been recommended by Government of Maharastra to the Department of Commerce (SEZ Section), New Delhi, affirming that the SEZ policy of the State of Maharastra provides for fiscal as well as regulatory support to the proposed SEZ in the State.

Based on the recommendation of the State Government the Board of Approvals, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Department of Commerce, New Delhi in its meeting held on 19th October 2007 has granted its formal approval to the SEZ project of MIPDL.

MIPDL will be constructing chargeable area of about 4 million sq. feet at Khopoli SEZ Comprising of Processing and Non Processing Areas, which is going to be an integrated work place, commercial, residential and recreational hub at an outlay of about Rs.950 Crores. MIPDL intends to commence construction activities in the month of March 2008 and proposes to complete it in phases within a three year period.
